A massive tank filled with that thick sweet nectar burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that swept through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, soaring to 25 feet in some areas, was horrifying. Homes and businesses crumbled under the power of the unstoppable goo.

The aftermath was tragic. Twenty-one website people lost their lives, and many more suffered injuries. The flood also caused extensive damage to property, leaving a trail of sweet devastation in its wake.

A Sticky Situation in Sticky Nightmare

This past week/month/summer, Boston has been plagued by a horrible/utterly disgusting/awful sticky nightmare.
